This site is provided by Woodside Cat Trees on an “as is” and “as available” basis. You agree not to hold us liable for any actions, losses or damages from using this website, or from using any links to third party sites you may visit from a link found within this website. You will not hold us responsible to any losses due to down time of the sites service including down time that may result in emails not being received in a timely manner.
We also take all due care in ensuring that our website is free of any virus, worm, Trojan horse and/or malware, however, we are not responsible for any damage to your computer system which arises in connection with your use of our website or any linked website.

By visiting Woodside Cat Trees, you agree that the laws of the UK, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Woodside Cat Trees.

Terms and Conditions for Shop and Bespoke orders.
Placing an Order from our gift store
When placing an order from our online store and choosing from any options available please check you have chosen the right option required. We will use this information to know which item to send you.
All orders and done via a secure encrypted server. We will only use your personal information to complete and contact you if required for your order, we will not share it with any third parties.
Emails
Please make sure you supply us with the right valid email to contact you on, and check your junk mail/spam box if you have not received any emails about your order or enquiry.
Personalisation, Bespoke & Promotional Items.
We offer laser engraved personalised gifts, bespoke laser engraved items. Please check all information for your order before submitting:
1. Any text you send for adding to your item/s (we will check any text sent but are not responsible for any spelling mistakes or grammar issues in text you send).
2. Any option choices chosen from those available.
3. Please check all contact and delivery addresses are correct before submitting your order.
4. For bespoke products not available to buy direct from the store, we will liaise with you to discuss your specifications, timelines and the pricing, Then ask for email confirmation you are happy to proceed before we commence with producing your order.
Please Note: We reserve the right to refuse any personalisation without any explanation that we deem to be illegal, explicit, abusive, offensive or anything we feel is not appropriate.
Cancelling or Changing an Order
If for any reason you wish to cancel or change an order please contact us as soon as possible. We can not cancel any orders that have been processed and ready to post, or cancel / change personalisations personalised / bespoke orders where we have started to create the item or sourced the materials required (if the order requires us to source extra materials we do not have in stock).
Cat trees and cat furniture
Orders for bespoke cat trees/cat furniture which are cancelled (after the 14 day cooling off period) will forfeit any retainers or deposits paid as the funds are used to source the materials required for the project and time taken on the project (from discussions, sourcing materials and working time). Slight changes to the brief of your project may affect the pricing. If the brief changes dramatically then we will re-quote and any retainers paid maybe lost if they were for items sourced and no longer required (such as faux fur/materials).
Payment & Shipping
Payments
Shop payments:
Payments are taken via PayPal. Once you have gone through the checkout process you will be taken to the PayPal secure payment gateway.
For bespoke items requested that you are not able to purchase via our store and the smaller bespoke cat furniture items we may ask for either part or full payment before we proceed to process your order. Payments for these are usually requested via bank transfer.
For large bespoke cat furniture orders:
After discussions with you we initially take a non returnable retainer to secure our bespoke service for your item and any fur/fabric required. When we are ready to proceed with your project we will invoice and ask for or a non refundable deposit before we start your project. After the acceptance of the invoice and the deposit being paid we start your project after the 14 days cancellation period. The remaining payment will be required in full before delivery/collection.
Order processing time
Once you place an order from our store, our dedicated team begins processing it promptly. This includes verifying the order details, creating and conducting quality checks, then preparing the package for shipment. The order processing time may vary depending on the product, with some items requiring additional handling or customisation.
Timelines for bespoke cat trees / furniture vary depending on the project, we will discuss this with you before taking the order.
Postage, Deliveries, Collections
Items from our store can be posted to Mainland GB which excludes Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and any areas not connected by road or rail. If you are from any other area and would like to order please contact us. To keep you informed about the progress of your delivery, we provide shipment tracking for most orders. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and instructions on how to track your package. This allows you to monitor the status of your shipment and estimate its arrival.
Delivery of cat trees, climbers and scratch posts
Unfortunately for large bespoke cat furniture we can only offer delivery within 250 miles of Norwich, Norfolk as we deliver ourselves. If you would like to arrange collection or an alternative delivery solution please feel free to contact us.
Risk or loss/damage in transit
All items purchased from Woodside Cat Trees which are shipped by a courier arranged by you (the purchaser) made pursuant to a shipment contract. This basically means that the risk of loss or damage in transit and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Collection and transporting
If you have arranged to collect you item/s, we will work with you to arrange a suitable day/time for you to collect and any directions required. Please make sure you have suitable transport and any packing materials required for your item/s. If for any reason you can not collect on the day/time arrange please contact us as soon as possible to inform us, so we can re-arrange a day/time with you.
Please note: We advise that all cat trees, climbers and scratch posts are not carried by the plinths. Although we do attach them securely handling the item by the base, and supporting branches is the safest way to carry them. For large items we advise two people to carry due to size and weight. Due to the shapes of our cat trees all dimensions are approximate, please make sure you can arrange suitable transport for them.
Returns
For items purchased from our store we offer a 14-day change of mind return policy
You have the right to cancel an order for goods made from our store from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. If you wish to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been shipped you may occur costs if you cancel*
Items must be in their original condition, in unused condition and in any original packaging, and include a copy of the returns slip. The buyer is responsible for any returns postage costs and must provide tracking information. Refunds are for the item cost only and do not include any initial postage fees paid and will be processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the returned item.
We aim to refund within 14 days of either Woodside Cat Trees receiving the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.
*If the buyer cancels their order, the buyer is responsible for paying for any return postage costs. We are not responsible for any items returned but lost in transit and would need to contact the courier/service you used.
Faulty items, please inform us as soon as you are aware of the fault. We do not refund for any faults that have been caused by misuse or mishandling of any products. For example moved or carried by plinths or used by persons or animals other than normal sized domestic cats. Or used care for in a manner that it was not intended to be.
Returns & Exclusions
We do not accept change of mind returns on any items which:
Have been delivered by us or collected from us. This is because you will have the chance to inspect the item before buying, and you have acknowledged that you are happy with the product before leaving with it.
We do not except returns on bespoke and personalised items as products made to order or earrings (due to hygiene reasons).
Product Advise and Disclaimers
Product Descriptions
Whilst we take much care to make sure all the information on this website is correct. We have the right to change to images, descriptions, pricing and shipping charges of products at anytime without notice.
Woodside Cat Trees attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, Woodside Cat Trees does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Woodside Cat Trees itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.
Disclaimers
Due to the nature of some of our products being handmade and the use of natural materials, sizes are all approximate, and they maybe variations in colours, textures, finish and depth of laser engraving, (as natural materials have variations in grains, natural flaws and textures). We take the utmost care and attention to detail with all our products and check them before shipping to make sure they are of a standard that they are fit for their purpose. We do not provide any warranties for any of our products that have been used for anything other than their intended purpose or not been cared for in the rightful manner.
When receiving any returns they will be checked to make sure they are in their original condition. We hold the right to refuse a refund if the terms of our returns policy has been met.
Cat Trees, Climbers & Cat Furniture
We take the utmost care when making our cat trees, climbers and scratch posts.
Making sure fixings etc secure and not protruding. The furniture is made to be a solid structure, and a safe environment for your cats. We only use natural sisal rope, which is safe for your cats to scratch.
We do not advise the use of any cat furniture by adults, children, dogs etc. Although they are made to be sturdy they are designed for use by domestic cats.
Please make sure you check over your cat furniture when you get it home, for any fittings that may have become loose in transit. Tighten if required. Also check regularly for any fittings that have loosened or damage over time, to ensure your cats stay safe when using their furniture. Please note even though we season the wood, with it being a natural product it does have a tendency to expand/contract over time with various temperatures etc, this may mean a need to tighten fittings or odd splits to the wood, these should be filled with appropriate products to maximise safety.
We take no responsibility for any misuse or lack of checks with any of our cat furniture. Cats will be cats and sometimes they will misjudge or have a fumble moment, we take no responsibility to any injuries sustained from falls or misjudgment. For collected orders - we take no responsibility to any damage that occurs in transit or due to the item being reconstrusted incorrectly once the item has been collected.
Cat Toys Disclaimer
We advise you supervise your cat when playing with all cat toys. We all know how enthusiastic our cats can be with toys, so please check the toy regularly for any signs of damage, and dispose of any toys that show any damage that may pose a threat to your kitty.
We take no responsibility for any harm caused by toys that should have been removed from your kitty due to damage from play or misuse.
Gift Cards
Our gift cards are sent digitally via email. Each card has a unique number which can only be entered once. Our digital gifts can only be redeemed for items sold as a buy it now via our online store.
Only one gift card can be used in a single transaction. Any unused credits will remain in the account of the recipient once the card has been redeemed.
All digital gift cards are non refundable, you or the recipients are responsible for keeping them safe, and we will not replace or refund any lost/misused cards.
Promotions
Discount codes:
Eligibility - Discounts posted on our social media are available for use by anyone who would like to purchase items from our store. Any discounts sent via email newsletters or as a personal discount via email are for the recipients use only.
Offers -
Percentage off discount codes - Eligible participants, will be able to receive the mentioned percentage off any single future transaction, in the particular categories or item list mentioned within the voucher. Each code will be valid for a certain period only. They must live within our delivery area as stated in our terms.
Newsletter 17th March 2025 discount code expires on the 30th April.
How to Redeem
To redeem the discount, the customer must purchase qualifying products from our store in the timeline set for the offer period. the discount code must be entered into the discount/voucher box during checkout. Discounts can not be applied after checkout has been completed or after the promotion has ended
Exclusions
The Discounts may not be exchanged for cash and is non-transferable, non-negotiable and non-refundable.
The discounts cannot be redeemed against gift card purchases.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel a promotion at any time.
